Rhonda Sevey’s professional work includes choreography for the Warner Brothers / Disney Channel feature film, “Wish Upon a Star,” the PBS television special, “John Tesh, Live at Red Rocks,” “Star Search,” and the Renaissance Films “Point Blank” talk show pilot. Her teaching credits include Chicago National Dance Masters, Studio 225 in Zurich, Switzerland, National Dance Camp, (Director), the Tanzsommer Festival in Innsbruck, Austria, and master classes in studios and schools across the nation. Adjudication work includes Odyssey Talent Competitions, Starlight Productions, LA Dance Magic, and KAR Competitions. Rhonda owned and directed the nationally recognized Utah Academy Dance Studios for 20 years; producing students who consistently received scholarships and performing contracts worldwide. Rhonda has been directing Nexus Dance Conventions and Competitions for the past 16 years; an education and performance platform designed to motivate dancers from the inside out.
Belle Jewel possesses a sweet, ethereal voice that will wrap you up in her enchanting melodies and lyrics. Her retro-inspired vocal style is paired with a quirky, edgy songwriting approach and the result is something truly unique. She recently competed as a finalist on NBC’s hit show “The Voice” and worked closely with Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus in the process. Shortly after her television debut, Belle Jewel released a well-received cover of No Doubt’s “Spiderwebs” with Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox. She is currently working on her first original album.
Miss Alexis is native from Provo, Utah. She just recently moved back after living and teaching dance in Las Vegas, NV and Boise, ID. She has had the privilege of dancing at Broadway Center in New York City, and taking classes from world known choreographers. While attending school at Utah Valley University her dance team placed 2nd at the Universal Dance Association’s College Nationals. She participated in the 2002 Olympics closing ceremonies, and was a hockey cheerleader. Miss Alexis has been teaching and choreographing for 18 years. Her choreography has won her dancers best showmanship, overall best technique and overall high point in numerous national competitions. Miss Alexis is so excited to join Utah COPA, where she is teaching jazz, little Tykes combo, hip hop and is a company director for the Petite company. She is very happy to be back in Utah doing what she loves.
