Pop Music Classes

“Utah COPA is providing our children with the tools to succeed, not just by using their talents, but by giving them the confidence they need to take on life’s challenges. With regard to the arts – the mentoring that is taking place here is second to none.”
– Lawrence & JennyLynn, Parents

Fall Schedule begins August 17th
Utah COPA’s Pop Academy offers an exciting combination of classes focused on current popular music genres and styles. Students will learn from teachers with extensive technique training and real world experience in the local music scene. Our faculty maintains valuable relationships with real music venues that love to host our students. (See faculty bios under the About Us tab on the home page). Students train in vocal technique, stage presence and movement, and songwriting. The Pop Academy offers open classes, which don’t require an audition or contract. Offerings include Group Voice and Songwriting classes. We also encourage pop students to take hip hop dance classes offered at COPA. Students receive discounts for enrollment in multiple classes. The Academy also offers Pop performing companies. Pop companies require an audition and offer a heightened Pop training experience. See the Company tab for more information.
